Collection: An Ode to Kerala

“An Ode to Kerala” is our love letter to the place, the people, and the moments that made us pause, breathe, and belong.

This collection was born out of a week unlike any other, when the CraftHER 2025 scholars joined us here at Swara. Together, we lived, learnt, and laughed with Kerala as our backdrop and our teacher. For those meeting CraftHER for the first time, it’s our Ethical Leadership Program supported by the Laidlaw Foundation, where young women from across the world come together to exchange ideas, learn from artisans, and discover what leadership rooted in care truly feels like.

The scholars spent their days soaking up the warmth of Kerala.....in the hands that served them, the women they met, the coastal breeze, the flavours that lingered, and even the butterflies that made them smile.

Out of these encounters emerged An Ode to Kerala - a collection less like fashion and more like a shared story we can all wear.

This collection is stitched with the patience of artisans, the imagination of scholars, and the heartbeat of Kerala itself. It’s meant to be lived in, shared, and carried with you - wherever you go.
